Project FLYTRAP is a recurring US/UK exercise uniting maneuver forces, industry, and the acquisition community to rapidly field emerging counter-UAS (cUAS) technologies and inform Army requirements. The exercise adheres to the core tenets of the FLYTRAP series: US/UK integration, maneuver formation focus, progressive difficulty, robust OPFOR, data-driven assessment, and forward engineering. Project FLYTRAP 6.0 is a U.S. Army-led multinational counter-UAS experimentation exercise where roughly 1,000 soldiers will operate across 50+ square kilometers in a large-scale combat operations (LSCO) environment.
